Update: They added more comfy chairs
This store is difficult to notice from Route 1 as you were driving along. The parking lot is odd with split entrances and exits. This fall 2017 the cafe is under reconstruction and disclosed so call ahead if you're planning to meet friends for coffee. The story is well laid out has a good selection and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Great book customer service. Didn't have the specific book I was looking for in stock though. Their Starbucks employees seem overwhelmed though, with minimal customers to help. I got skipped by the staff and the people behind me all got their drinks before they realized they forgot mine. The customers in line were rude as well.
They have a cafe which serves Starbucks items, but they don't accept SB rewards/cards. Not a big deal, just strange. Quiet, chill spot to relax, and check out some new books or magazines. I wish they would add some more comfy chairs or some plugs.
The store maintains an admirable level of unobtrusive customer service. You can always get help, or just as easily be happily left alone to browse.
One of the last Barnes & Nobles around. Still like the old days: coffee shop and lots of books you can read before you buy anything.
